Hotels
For those visiting Toronto from other parts of the world, or other planets, I have negotiated several carefully selected hotels and youth hostels. All are clean, professional, and not too far from the venue. All the hotels are near public transit (TTC), so you do have choices of taking a streetcar or a cab to the venue or shopping. Most offer several options of rooms from one to four people. All hotels have an informative web page which offers directions and details. The desk staff are very helpful at all locations, so please do not hesitate to contact them with your questions or concerns.
Please book your accommodations soon as rooms are limited and they are already being filled.
The hotels are listed from most expensive to cheapest.

Holiday Inn on King - from $189CAD / night
370 King Street West
This is the most luxurious and centrally located hotel on this list. You are close to shopping, the entertainment district, restaurants, and more! This Holiday Inn also offers a sauna, pool, fitness facilities, high speed internet, and so much more. This hotel rocks! This is the same Holiday Inn where the Hells Angels biker gang just recently had their huge convention. If it is good enough for them, it is surely good enough for you! This hotel has the most rooms and the most knowledgeable staff. This is not a bad deal if you fit two or more persons per room.

Four Points Sheraton Lakeshore - from $135CAD / night
1926 Lakeshore Blvd West
This is a nicely appointed hotel with good sized rooms, a restaurant, and is conveniently located near the venue. As a matter of fact, you can just walk to the venue in 15 minutes along the lakeshore. However, it is slightly isolated from shopping and amenities. A quick cab or TTC ride will solve this problem. Limited amount of rooms!!

Days Inn - $79CAD/night ($89CAD/night with two people in the room)
14 Ronsevalles (at the end of King St W and Queen St West)
Great deal!! This is the closest hotel to the venue. It is literally a 2-minute walk across a bridge to get to the Palais Royale. If you like to drink and stumble back to your bed, this is your best bet! ;) This is also the best option if you'd just like to stay out partying late at the venue. The Days Inn is near the lakeshore just in case you need a romantic walk with your new found cutie pie. Rooms are especially limited at this location, so book now!

Gladstone Hotel

The Gladstone Hotel was built in 1889 and is Toronto's oldest operating hotel. The Gladstone is not too far from the venue. I would say a 20 min walk or a very short cab ride.

U of T is one of the nicer looking universities in Toronto since many of the buildings are very old. The campus opens up many of their residences during the summer months to accomodate tourists and summer students. Regardless of what the websites say make sure you call or email them directly to get the most up-to-date details.
